Lalique Feuilles salt and pepper grinder by Peugeot

DESCRIPTION

Lalique and Peugeot collaborate to bring back René Lalique’s 1924 Feuilles salt and pepper grinder, combining timeless design with exceptional craftsmanship.

Peugeot embraced the industrial age at the beginning of the 19th century (1840) with the steel industry.
In 1840, Peugeot launched the first coffee grinder, to be followed by pepper and salt grinders. Peugeot grinding mechanisms carry a lifetime warranty. It was not before 1886 that Peugeot started the production of bicycles, motorcycles and cars, sectors for which they are the most famous nowadays.

Lalique and Peugeot collaborate again to develop the Feuilles pepper grinder of René Lalique created in 1924.

Lalique today is considered the jewel in the crown of the French glass and crystal industry since 1888 – a byword for excellence, a reputation earned through creating extraordinary pieces in crystal glass in its myriad variations. It is not for nothing that Lalique is also referred to as the ‘haute couture’ of crystal. Since 1922, every Lalique piece has been produced at their only factory, the Verrerie d'Alsace glassworks at Wingen-sur Moder, Alsace, in a French region with a strong historical glassmaking tradition.

Pre-order delivery is estimated within 4 weeks.

This piece is brand new, sourced directly from Lalique, and bears the Lalique signature at its base, guaranteeing authenticity. We are the only authorised boutique in Sydney, Australia, where you can visit and select your Lalique pieces in person.
